Now that's a quote from "Fields of Dreams" and it has often been applied to blogging. I encountered one person in a certain forum who is very new to this whole blogging phenomenon. DSL, T1, Or DS3 Bandwidth - What's Right For Your Business?

When would YOU choose DSL, T1, or DS3 Bandwidth as test internet connection network solution for your business .... and why/why not? What are the pros and cons for and against each bandwidth type in a business setting?

In general .....

T1 and DS3 give the same bandwidth in both directions when configured as point to point. Different flavors of DSL provide different up and downlink speeds.

There are many blog services out there such as blogger.com (owned by Google) and WordPress. Open an account with any of these services and start writing about your topic. You can have a personal blog where you write about anything you want or you can have a blog about topics having to do with your specific market. The key here is to just start writing. And it doesn't have to be everyday but it should be consistent. The more you blog the more you will be picked up by the search engines.

Article Submissions- This is another fantastic way to generate publicity on the internet. It positions you as an expert, if you are interesting you can create a buzz, and it's a way to take people to your website. Again, just like blogs, there are tons of article submission websites. Some are free, others have a nominal fee. Submitting to these sites will also have you picked up by the search engines and therefore generate further visibility for yourself. Social Networking- This platform is huge and only growing. This is the publicity tool of the future and is quickly becoming the new way to do business. There are a swarm of social networking sites out there. I will name a few of the most popular. Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, and Twitter are all free services that allow you to network with others in a virtual manner.
